Blue Waters is a stunningly beautiful waterhole located within the Creswick Regional Park, right off the Melbourne Road and just minutes from the town centre. Once an open cut mine, Blue Waters is now a gorgeous scenic area fantastic for bushwalking, gold prospecting, four wheel driving and photography. Surrounded by striking red cliffs, the water is incredibly clear and shines an iridescent blue when the sun hits it.
Full Flight Birds of Prey Centre is dedicated to the protection and conservation of native raptors through public education, breeding and research. Our dedicated staff have years of experience working with birds of prey, both in Australia and internationally. This experience is obvious in the close bonds we share with our raptors, and the impeccable care given to every bird at the centre.
St Georges Lake is a local favourite for swimming, walking and photography. Once a mining dam known as "Govvy Dam", the lake has been developed into a picturesque haven for relaxation and recreation. The main picnic area features free electric barbecue facilities, picnic tables, bench seating, grassy lawns, toilets and a walking track
The establishment of a museum became a desire for the town after WW2 especially with the passing of the older generation who were born in the Creswick district. Mary Lindsay, herself wrote to Mrs Curtin, after John Curtin’s death, asking for a token for the future museum. The Museum is housed in the old Creswick Town Hall. A National Trust building built in 1876. Of particular interest are the architectural features of the building.

The Creswick Regional Park offers a variety of outdoor activities for all ages in peaceful surroundings. Wood barbecues are provided at most picnic areas, with electric barbecues available at St George's Lake. Toilets and water are available at St George's Lake. The Number 1 free camping ground at Slaty Creek has toilets only. You can camp for short stays at the Slaty Creek area. This is suitable for motor homes as well as tents. Campers should bring their own drinking water and firewood.
